Start from the North

This is a complete journey through the northern part of Tenerife and the Anaga mountain massif, starting and ending in Puerto de la Cruz. The route leads through the greenest, wildest, and most spectacular corners of the island, far from the typical southern resorts. Along the way, we stop at numerous viewpoints offering breathtaking panoramas of the ocean and cliffs.

To make the most of the day and ensure we see all the planned attractions, we highly recommend bringing your own provisions (e.g., sandwiches). Our sightseeing schedule is intense, while the local pace of life can be… unhurried. Waiting times in restaurants—even for simple dishes—can take up to an hour, so having your own snacks is the best way to avoid losing precious moments waiting at a table.

We guarantee the tour’s departure regardless of the number of participants. We travel in small groups (maximum 8 people), which means that for smaller bookings, other guests may join the group. However, the tour will take place even with as few as two people.

What we will see along the route:

Candelaria

The spiritual capital of Tenerife, where the island’s patron saint – the Black Madonna – is located in the basilica. On the square in front of the temple stand statues of the Guanches, the ancient kings of the island, proudly guarding the ocean shore. It is an ideal place to learn about history and enjoy a moment of reflection accompanied by the sound of the waves.

Playa de Las Teresitas

The most famous beach in the north, created with golden sand brought directly from the Sahara. The water here is always calm thanks to a breakwater, and the palm grove together with the view of the Anaga Mountains creates a postcard-like setting.

Taganana

One of the oldest settlements on the island, a white village “clinging” to the steep slopes of the Anaga Mountains. The road leading there is full of winding turns and stunning views, and the town itself has preserved the atmosphere of old, isolated Tenerife.

Benijo

A wild, volcanic beach with black sand, considered one of the most photogenic places on the island. The rock formations emerging from the ocean (Roques de Anaga) and the raw power of nature create an incredible, untamed impression – this is the end of the road and absolute wilderness.

Chinamada

A unique village with houses carved into the rock, which will also be the place of our active recreation. We will take an incredibly scenic walk here, and after a short and pleasant ascent of about 15 minutes, we will reach the mountain summit. From there, a breathtaking view opens up, allowing us to admire both parts of Tenerife’s northern coastline at the same time.

Pico del Inglés

One of the most spectacular viewpoints in the Anaga Mountains. From this “balcony,” a 360-degree panorama unfolds over dense laurel forests and jagged mountain ridges, and on a clear day you can see Teide and the neighboring Gran Canaria.

Tunel de las Hadas

A magical section of laurel forest where the tree canopies intertwine above the road, forming a natural green tunnel. An extraordinary atmosphere of moisture and shade prevails here, giving the impression of stepping into a fairytale world of ancient nature.
