Trail at the Edge of the World: Chamorga Loop – Anaga Lighthouse
This is more than a trek — it is a journey to a place where the road ends and the infinity of the ocean begins. The loop starting in Chamorga, the last settlement in the Anaga Mountains, takes you through rugged ravines down to the very edge of the Atlantic, and then challenges your fitness with a climb back up toward the clouds.
This route is the essence of Tenerife’s contrasts: from misty peaks, through sun-scorched cliffs, to the soothing sound of waves in a cove cut off from civilization.
We guarantee the tour’s departure regardless of the number of participants. We travel in small groups (maximum 8 people), which means that for smaller bookings, other guests may join the group. However, the tour will take place even with as few as two people.

What awaits you on the trail:

Descent into the Blue Abyss

Roque Bermejo – Time Standing Still
At the bottom of the ravine, a reward awaits: the tiny fishing settlement of Roque Bermejo, to which no asphalt road leads. Here you will find peace on a black volcanic beach. It is the perfect moment to take off your trekking shoes, enjoy a restorative swim in the ocean, and have a meal accompanied by the sound of waves crashing against the rocks.

Guardian of the East – Faro de Anaga
The return route is a test of character. Climbing up from sea level, you will pass the majestic Faro de Anaga lighthouse. This solitary guardian, perched on a cliff, offers one of the most spectacular viewpoints on the island — from here you can see the endless waters and the power of the mountains you are conquering.

Ridge Return
Technical data (Truth over comfort):
Hiking time: 4–4.5 hours (excluding swimming breaks — of course we don’t deny ourselves this pleasure, which is why swimwear is required)
Elevation gain: 668 meters (a solid ascent in the second half of the route)
Difficulty level: Medium/Demanding. Bring a large supply of water and food, as there are no shops or restaurants in Roque Bermejo. Remember sun protection — in open areas the sun is very strong.
