This is a complete journey through the northern part of Tenerife and the Anaga mountain range, starting and ending in Puerto de la Cruz. Expedition to the Roof of Spain: Montaña Blanca Trail
This is not an ordinary excursion — it is a pilgrimage to the heart of the volcano, a physical and mental challenge rewarded with a view available only to a few. We set off from the Montaña Blanca parking area, leaving behind green Tenerife to enter a landscape straight out of Mars.
